Acorn Recruitment require Timber Frame Operatives in Neath
Our client is one of Wales leading timer frame / modular manufactures. Due to company expansion they have opportunities for operatives to join their Team.
Duties / Responsibilities
- Reading design drawings
- Measuring timber lengths
- Selecting correct timber and using basic hand tools to assemble
- Operate machinery ( full training to be given )
- Follow health and safety procedures
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Previous experience in similar work shop / production environment
- Previous experience using basic hand tools
- Previous Carpentry or Joinery experience (desirable)
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Be a team player
Working hours - Working 6:00am to 6:00pm on a shift rota. Will be required to work 1 weekend every 3 weeks.
Rate of pay - £8.72ph PAYE with a £55 bonus for working a Saturday, Sunday or Bank Holiday.
Duration - Initially 3 months work, but could be longer term for right candidates.
