Vacancy: Site Manager
Sector: Social Housing Refurbishment
Salary: £38-42k + package (depending on experience)
Location: Greater Manchester & Merseyside
A well-established Social Housing Contractor seek to appoint a Site Manager to join them on a permanent basis.
The company specialise in refurbishments, both internal and external, to Social Housing properties throughout the region. Current schemes include kitchen & bathroom replacements, windows and doors replacements, fire doors, central heating upgrades and rewires in both Greater Manchester and Merseyside areas.
Reporting to the Contracts Manager, your duties will be:
- Requisition of materials
- Managing subcontractors
- Issuing sub-contractor short term programmes
- Holding regular progress meetings
- Updating the construction programme
- Managing trades/labour on site
- Managing Health & Safety on site
- Attending monthly cost meetings
- Client liaison
- Liaising with customers
The successful candidate must have:
- SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid
- A stable and progressive career history
- Previous experience managing social housing refurbishment schemes
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to make quick decisions and work under pressure
The salary on offer is £38-42k (DOE) + company vehicle or allowance, and additional company benefits.
