My client a leading consultant to the UK water industry have an immediate requirement for a senior / principal water network engineer / modeller.
Working in the South East UK in one of 3 possible locations you will be responsible for developing and delivering modelling projects and task to meet budget, time frame and quality targets.
Ideally applicants should have relevant engineering qualifications such as a degree or equivalent in an engineering subject and extensive experience in the UK water industry - overseas experience and those with contrasting qualifications would also be considered.
The successful applicant will be responsible for:
- Delivery of model build studies
- Model Verification
- Distribution, Zonal or strategic network studies
- Driving innovation within Modelling
- Network optimisation
- Spacial Mapping and data visualisation
Applicants should be conversant in a range of modelling softwares including Infoworks / Infowater / Epanet and also possess exceptional skills in GIS database management, spatial data manipulation and map production (MapInfo, ArcGIS / QGIS)
