Fabric Engineer

North London

Mobile Fabric Engineer
Our client is a National Building Services provider. They have an excellent reputation within the region, they are currently looking to recruit a Mobile Fabric Engineer to work with them & the team covering their Client Portfolio's across the North London Region.

You will be carrying out Planned, Preventative & Reactive Maintenance Schedules to Premises which include Commercial Offices, Schools & Colleges & Leisure buildings.

Duties will include

Carpentry, hanging and adjusting Fire Doors, door locks, basic plumbing tasks, Emergency Lighting, decorating and general building fabric repairs

Maintain up to date records of all work carried out within the site manuals, both hard copy files and electronic

To participate within an out of normal working hours emergency call out rota and be flexible outside of core working hours

Maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, clients, customers and work as part of a team

Ensure clear communication with line management and office support staff

Ideally you will be educated to City & Guilds or NVQ equivalent in Carpentry or relevant Trade, knowledge & experience of working on commercial or industrial plant & systems. Holder of a Full UK driving licence, a valid CSCS card, Working at Height/IPAF/PASMA certification is desirable but not essential. If you have a current CRB/DBS certificate this will be hugely advantageous.
