Position: Estates caretaker
***FULL UK DRIVING LICENCE REQUIRED WITH 6 POINTS OR LESS: Static position but there is a vehicle that will be needed to be driven on site to transport bins, they will show you how to operate etc.
I am currently seeking caretakers to cover various new build, social housing estate based in Acton.
The role is with a established housing company with thousands of homes that they manage/own across London and who are currently looking to expand there teams, the company has excellent career prospects and the ability to develop other skills for those wanting to further themselves.
Hourly rate: £13.20 PAYE £14.98 UMB rates including holiday pay
Responsibilities:
Communal cleaning - mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, litter picking etc.
Basic repairs/maintenance -changing door handles, handrails, replacing light bulbs
Reporting any anti-social behaviour
Dealing with contractors
Working to a schedule/rota for the bin stores making sure they are ready for collection Clearing bin stores Health and safety on site making sure your work space is a safe environment for you and the residents.
Up to date DBS/CRB check is essential, this must be dated within 1 year, if you don't have one you can either apply for one online or get in touch with me to discuss further.
Previous experience as a caretaker is preferred but not essential, previous experience in cleaning and customer service would help, I am looking for someone with a can do attitude to work, you will need previous experience cleaning, customer service, good communication skills, able to send emails and read and write in English and be health and safety conscious.
